Empower your disability.
Hi, I’m Eden Alon—an disability life coach and disability advocate from Myrtle Beach, and I’m also proudly autistic. I work with teens and young adults with a wide range of disabilities, helping them to make new friends, having a budget , understanding their needs, and pride in who they are.
At the heart of my work is a belief that disabled people deserve to be empowered and to thrive.
I’m proudly autistic.
and that lived experience is what drives my work as a disability advocate and coach. I’ve been through some of the same things you might be dealing with right now—having no friends after high school, not having clear goals, constantly apologizing when I don’t need to, or not even knowing where to start with basic independent living skills like cleaning.
I use a strengths-based coaching model rooted in the Independent Living Philosophy, the Neurodiversity Paradigm, and the Social Model of Disability. I believe in community integration, self-determination, and that people with disabilities should be the ones leading the charge for change—because we understand our needs best. My role isn’t to tell you who to be, but to support you as you figure out what works for you. I see you as the main character of your own story.
Through personalized, tailored one-on-one coaching, I help clients create real, meaningful change in areas like:
Making and maintaining friendships, not just “social skills,” but learning how to connect, communicate, and feel like you belong
Career readiness, including resume building, mock interviews, and figuring out next steps that align with your strengths
Building community connections and support networks, so you’re not doing life alone
Time management and executive functioning, with practical strategies that actually work in real life
Independent living skills, like organization, routines, and everyday tasks that support confidence and autonomy
“I empower teens and young adults with disabilities to build real-world skills and confidence so they can thrive independently in their everyday lives.”
Can coaching help you?
If you’re a teen or young adult with a disability who wants more independence—but don’t have many friends, struggle with everyday tasks like cleaning or managing time, or aren’t sure what your next step is—you’re not alone. I also work with parents who are worried because their child wants independence but has trouble following through with responsibilities, routines, or expectations at home, or having a hard time studying.
My coaching is designed for individuals who benefit from encouragement, structure, and personalized support. We focus on practical, real-life skills—like making and keeping friends, building daily routines, or even and finding a job that’s a good fit, not just any job.
At this time, I am not able to support individuals with high behavioral support needs or those requiring intensive care. I’m happy to refer you to local resources that may better match that level of support.
