Frequently Asked Questions
Let’s get you some clarity.
What ages do you work with?
I currently work with folks between the ages of 14 and 28. There may be exceptions depending on your specific needs, but I don’t work with clients under 14 years old.
Do you take insurance?
Right now, I do not accept insurance. That may change down the line, but for the time being, I’m private pay only. I’ll always try to keep things transparent and affordable!
How long are sessions?
Sessions can last up to 2 hours max, but if you’d prefer a shorter session—say, just an hour—that’s totally okay too. It’s all about what works best for you and your energy.
How do we get started?
I like to start things off with a free 15–30 minute consultation call. That gives us both a chance to talk, ask questions, and see if we’re the right fit. Or you can contact me here if you have general questions.
After that, if we decide to move forward, you can schedule an appointment.
Where do sessions take place?
That depends on what’s most comfortable for you! Options include:
Online sessions
In-person sessions at public locations like libraries or coffee shops
At-home sessions, if that’s where you feel safest
If we’re meeting in person, the location needs to be within 30 minutes of Myrtle Beach. Just let me know where you’d like to meet, and I’ll let you know if it works!
Is everything we talk about confidential?
Yes! Our sessions are confidential. I won’t share anything without your permission unless I’m required by law due to a safety concern (like if you’re in danger). I’ll go over that clearly with you before we begin.
Can parents or caregivers be involved in the process?
For younger clients (under 18), I’m happy to involve parents or caregivers—especially during the consultation or goal-setting process. However, I also want to make sure the client has space to express their own needs. We'll find the right balance depending on comfort, age, and communication preferences.
What if I’m not sure what I need?
That’s totally okay. You don’t need a perfect plan to reach out. We can explore it together during the consultation. Sometimes, just having someone listen makes the next steps clearer.
Do I have to be working or in school to work with you?
Nope! You can be in a transition period, still figuring things out, or just want support in daily life. That’s totally valid. I’ll meet you where you are.
Are your services accessible?
I do my best to adapt to your needs. Whether you need things written down, prefer to turn your camera off, or have sensory or mobility concerns—tell me what works best for you. I want to meet you where you are and make things as comfortable as possible.
