Frequently Asked Questions

Let’s get you some clarity.

What ages do you work with?

  • I currently work with folks between the ages of 14 and 28. Depending on your specific needs, I may also work with clients who are 12 or 13, as well as those who are 29 or 30. That said, the closer you are to the 14–28 range, the better fit it tends to be.

Do you take insurance?

  • Right now, I do not accept insurance. That may change down the line, but for the time being, I’m private pay only. I’ll always try to keep things transparent and affordable!

How long are sessions?

  • Sessions can last up to 2 hours max, but if you’d prefer a shorter session—say, just an hour—that’s totally okay too. It’s all about what works best for you and your energy.

How do we get started?

Where do sessions take place?

That depends on what’s most comfortable for you! Options include:

  • Online sessions

  •  In-person sessions at public locations like libraries or coffee shops

If we’re meeting in person, the location needs to be within 30 minutes of Myrtle Beach. Just let me know where you’d like to meet, and I’ll let you know if it works!

Is everything we talk about confidential?

  • Yes! Our sessions are confidential. I won’t share anything without your permission unless I’m required by law due to a safety concern (like if you’re in danger). I’ll go over that clearly with you before we begin.

Can parents or caregivers be involved in the process?

  • For younger clients (under 18), I’m happy to involve parents or caregivers—especially during the consultation or goal-setting process. However, I also want to make sure the client has space to express their own needs. We'll find the right balance depending on comfort, age, and communication preferences.

What if I’m not sure what I need?

  • That’s totally okay. You don’t need a perfect plan to reach out. We can explore it together during the consultation. Sometimes, just having someone listen makes the next steps clearer.

Do I have to be working or in school to work with you?

  • Nope! You can be in a transition period, still figuring things out, or just want support in daily life. That’s totally valid. I’ll meet you where you are.

Are your services accessible?

  • I do my best to adapt to your needs. Whether you need things written down, prefer to turn your camera off, or have sensory or mobility concerns—tell me what works best for you. I want to meet you where you are and make things as comfortable as possible.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?

  • You can cancel within 24 hours for a refund minus any small processing fee. Sessions can be rescheduled with 24 hours’ notice. Missed or late-canceled sessions are non-refundable. For more information, please refer to my service page.

What will sessions with you be like?

  • In our first consultation, we’ll decide on a key growth area—like executive functioning, independent living skills, or career readiness. I’ll then create a tailored plan focused on that area. Sessions may include skill-building activities, learning about key topics, and other supports. Growth takes time, which is why we focus on one area at a time to build steady progress
