Who I can help:
Teens and young adults with disabilities who are ready to work on their independence
Those who benefit from encouragement, structure, and personalized support
What do you mean by “high support needs” or “high behavioral needs”?
I work best with clients who either have the willingness to works toward greater independence or already able to engage in sessions with minimal supervision.
That said, I’d still be happy to help connect you with resources or services that better fit your needs or goals.
At this time, I am not able to support individuals with high behavioral support needs or those requiring intensive care. I’m happy to refer you to local resources that may better match that level of support. While I support a wide range of needs, my services may not be the best fit for individuals who:
Require full-time caregiving or cannot live independently at all.
Need assistance with personal care, medical care, or medication during sessions.
Are currently in crisis or experiencing severe, untreated mental health challenges.
Exhibit frequent aggressive or self-injurious behaviors that require trained behavioral intervention or safety staff.
Need intensive behavior plans or supports that go beyond what a coaching or independent living framework can provide.
A Strengths-Based Approach
What does that mean?
A strengths-based approach focuses on leveraging an individual's inherent abilities and resources, rather than dwelling on their weaknesses or deficits. It emphasizes identifying what an individual does well and building upon those strengths to promote well-being and positive outcomes. This approach is holistic and multidisciplinary, considering both internal strengths and external resources like social networks and community support.
I focus on what clients can do and build from there
I provide coaching that uplifts, empowers, and respects autonomy
My toolkit is derived from Independent Living Philosophy
I use Key Principles of the Neurodiversity Paradigm
Trust. Respect. Support. Always.
Everything we talk about is handled with care and discretion. I won’t share your personal information with anyone without your okay—unless there's a real safety concern or legal obligation. Your trust is important, and I treat it that way.
Your privacy is respected
Clear and honest communication
I’ll always be upfront with you—about services, pricing, expectations, and anything else that matters to your experience. If something changes, I’ll let you know in a timely, respectful way. You deserve clear answers, not guesswork.
Judgment-free zone
This is a space where you can show up as your full self—no filters, no judgment. Whether you're working through something personal or building new skills, I approach our time together with empathy, respect, and openness. You're encouraged to speak freely, ask questions, and explore without fear.
I do not and will not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status. While I am heterosexual, I affirm and welcome clients who are part of the LGBTQ+ community. I don’t judge or exclude based on identity – ever.
Doing the right thing, always
I aim to be consistent, reliable, and ethical in all parts of this work. I take my role seriously and will never promise something I can’t deliver. If I’m not the best fit to support a certain need, I’ll tell you honestly and help you find someone who is.
Creative tools, flexible thinking
Everyone learns and grows in their own way. I adapt my approach based on what works best for you, and I’m not afraid to think outside the box. If something’s not clicking, we’ll shift the strategy together until it does.
Connection-centered support
This work is about more than checklists—it's about building a life you feel connected to. I help you tap into resources, community spaces, and networks that align with your goals. You don’t have to do it all alone.
